Introduction

I'll bet you think you know what's going on in the world. Homophobic Christians are persecuting gays, and Israel is instigating war with Palestine, right? That's what your teacher said, anyway. That's what you read in the newspaper and heard on TV, too. But the truth is:

You have been lied to.

Much of what you have been led to believe is a fabrication, intended to lead you in a desired direction, to a predetermined outcome. This process is known as social engineering. Sound crazy? Sound like a conspiracy theory? Well now, that would be crazy, wouldn't it? To think that a group of people would play pretend so that they could get others to give them what they want? That's difficult to conceive, isn't it...?

No, it isn't. People frequently lie, make false claims, and even cause disturbances and blame it on others, all so that they can achieve their own objectives. That's exactly what we're talking about.

This section of LDSDJ is devoted to helping you recognize the lies that you have been taught, so that you can wake up and spread the truth.

While the originators of the lies discussed on this site knew what they were doing, many of the people who spread them today do so ignorantly. Then again, there are still many people today who spread these lies intentionally, as well. Those of us who know the truth must wave it as a banner, for all the world to see, that the ignorant may learn wisdom, and that the liars may be condemned.

1. Know Your Enemy

It was actually just the end of last year (2008) that I awoke to all of this myself, so I will tell you how I came to get where I am and maybe it will work for you, as well. I imagine it will; education is the cure for a lot of things.

If you’re like me, you probably hate reading about politics. Well, that WAS me, anyways until, in passing, I noticed a book on the shelf in my Grandma’s garage. It was called, The Naked Communist, and it was not a thin book. I could tell it was about politics, so I wanted to put it back but something kept telling me that I needed to read it. I have learned that it is important to listen to that still, small voice, so I did.

The Naked Communist was written by W. Cleon Skousen, who worked in the FBI for many years, under J. Edgar Hoover, and also served as Chief of Police in Salt Lake City, among other things. He is considered an expert on Communism. The book explains just what exactly Communism is, who started it, what they believe in and are working towards, and just how many millions upon millions of people they murdered in cold blood to advance their agenda. The number of dead has increased substantially since the book was published. It becomes quite clear, early in the book, that this is an organization that has one goal: total world domination. The “promise” is that there will be peace in the world when, and only when, Communists rule every square inch of the earth. Their evil only being matched by their cunning, they recognized that America would be an enormous obstacle – one that they could never defeat militarily. So, a plan was developed in the late 1800’s/early 1900’s that they referred to as a 100-year war: a method of systematically destroying America from within by gradually degrading her three strengths: her religion, her morals, and her families. We have become so used to their attacks (desensitized) that we have become unaware of their progress. It must also be said that we have been kept in the dark intentionally, since it is easier for our enemies to advance when we have no idea what it is they are trying to accomplish.

I can’t sufficiently describe to you what it was like to wake up to that reality, after just the first few chapters, except to compare it to, oh, having someone dump a bucket of ice water on you to get you out of bed in the morning. I was scrambling around trying to talk about it to anyone who would listen. It was truly a wise man who said that knowing the truth would set you free. In our ignorance we are bound by the limitations we have come to believe in.

Despite its almost 400 pages, it is extremely well-written, and easy to read, with a format geared toward those who may be completely unfamiliar with the subject. It is also very well researched, and chock full of quotes from the Communist individuals themselves, which make the message –and the threat- all the more personal.

Importance of the Psychological War

The biggest mistake of the West has been allowing itself to drift into a state of mental stagnation, apathy and inaction. In some circles, motivations of patriotism, loyalty and the traditional dream of "freedom for all men" have been lying dormant or have been paralyzed by a new kind of strange thinking. Authorities say there is an urgent need for a revolutionary change in our state of mind.

What is wrong with our "state of mind?"

First and foremost, we have been thinking the way the Communists want us to think. Our founding fathers would be alarmed to learn how confused many of our people have become over such fundamental problems as coexistence, disarmament, free trade, the United Nations, recognition Red China, and a host of related problems. Instead of maintaining a state of intellectual vigilance, we have taken Communist slogans as the major premises for too many of our conclusions. Let us go down a list of current strategy goals which the Communists and their fellow travelers are seeking to achieve. These are all part of the campaign to soften America for the final takeover. It should be kept in mind that many loyal Americans are working for these same objectives because they are not aware that these objectives are designed to destroy us.

2. Open Your Eyes

Think you’re free? Really? Consider the following recent events: a California couple was told by their county that they had to get a permit to hold Bible study in their own home; a man was stopped by the police solely because he had a conservative bumper sticker on his vehicle; a college student was interrogated by the police because he gave a speech in class about the benefits of carrying weapons on campus in the wake of shootings on college campuses (he did not bring a prop for the speech, and had never brought a gun onto campus); ever heard of the Patriot Act? You can now be detained for any length of time for any reason, whether or not you have committed a crime; all they need is to “suspect” you of something. Did you read the DHS report on “Right-Wing Extremism?” Apparently, if you don’t tow the Liberal party line, they suspect you of a lot of things. And last, but not least, have you been in an airport lately? That is the closest thing to the Soviet Union I have ever experienced.

3. Know Your Rights, and Their Limitations

Read the Constitution (It's not that long, I promise!), as well as the Bill of Rights (10 short statements!), and learn what they say about the rights of individuals in our country and the limitations on the authority of the federal government. You may be surprised to realize how far we have drifted from the original state of our country. The term "drifted" makes it sound inadvertent and unintentional, but it most certainly has not been. Yes, that old cliché is true: “Give a man an inch and he’ll take a foot.” As you look back at the court cases in which our rights have been stolen, you will notice an obvious deliberateness.

4. Do Take It Seriously, Don’t Take it Personally

When you begin to realize the true state of things, I beg you to take it all as seriously as a cancer diagnosis. Honestly, that’s what it is. We have very little freedom left, and those in power are actively seeking to finish the job. At the same time, though, understand that this is not a Republican thing or a Democrat thing. They are both complicit. Many presidents and politicians have, intentionally or unwittingly, greased the wheels that have sent us skidding onto our current course. Barack Obama, however, seems intent on finishing the job as quickly as he possibly can. He is aided by Supreme Court Justices who are legislating from the bench, and ignoring the will of the people. Their efforts must be resisted at every turn. We must also cease to be “party voters” and return to being “values voters.” If America survives to see any more elections, we simply cannot afford to vote along party lines, or by how our parents and friends vote, or any other mindless method. If we want to take back control of our country, we must begin to hold our representatives accountable to the 9 Principles and 12 Values that are the core of American morality. These are the very things that keep our country together.

5. Speak Up! Spread The Word!

Do your part:

When you learn something, share it with those around you. Challenge those who spread the lies! Don’t let family, friends, or neighbors remain in their ignorance. Above all, don’t let people in positions of authority (i.e., pastors, teachers, professors, etc) continue to spread the lies, either!! The damage that can be done by people in these positions is immeasurable.
